Tacara Barnes is a Marriage and Family Therapy graduate intern completing her master’s degree at Capella University. She is passionate about helping couples, individuals, and young adults navigate life’s challenges, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier ways of communicating and connecting with others.

Tacara understands that relationships, personal growth, and life transitions can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you’re working through relationship difficulties, struggling with communication, navigating the challenges of young adulthood, or simply feeling stuck, she strives to provide a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard and supported.

With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Tacara helps clients explore their emotions, gain new perspectives, build confidence, and develop practical tools for creating meaningful change.

She believes that everyone deserves to feel understood and supported, and that therapy can be a valuable step toward building healthier relationships and a more fulfilling life.

Tacara currently offers counseling sessions at a reduced student rate of $40 per session, helping make mental health care more accessible to individuals and couples in our community.
